TRB Oh boy where do I start. I just recovered from one serious mother fc.

Check my signature for my setup.

I dont know if this could happen to everyone on latest Alliance but happened to me just now and spent hours trying to figure it out and come out of it.

Only a full wipe solved this for me and restoring a nandroid backup made two days ago.

Lucky I used this app

To recover the data I had from apps these last two days by making a nandroid backup and restoring certain app data from it.

[APP][V1.0] Nandroid Manager

Okay the cause of fc seemed to be triggered today when I tried to set in display both lockscreen and home screen both to my live wallpaper here. I was using jb locksreen at the time.

As soon as I did this I was getting fc galor and could no longer use power button properly (couldn't even bring up shutdown options due to this)

My launcher Apex was acting up until it got stuck in the screen to select default launcher, apex, nova or tw. But I couldn't press any of them. They would highlight but not action?

I rebooted phone same thing, cleared delvik, cache. Same thing. I even did a non wipe installation and still same thing.

In the end I had to surrender and do full wipe and restore old backup as mentioned above.

Ive never had an issue quite like this before on jb sammy let alone previous AllianceRoms.

So this is a warning and a request to others to see if they can replicate this issue but please do a full nandroid backup if u do.

Exactly the same situation happened also to me. After using live wallpaper and unlocking the screen the FC party started. The only solution was factory reset. I'm was on fresh rom install without any additions and latest Syiah kernel. Edit: Back of the phone (around camera) was getting really hot.
