How to migrate <fileplan>? #187

the continued development of the Archives Portal Europe, especially to the
Work Package (WP) 4 on standards and guidelines, and the "EAD" and "Authority
data" expert groups of the French Association of Standardization (AFNOR) on
the alpha release.

The element has been removed whereas it is currently used in
apeEAD. What are the recommendations to transfer the content of existing

The decision to remove was based on an understanding that there was not significant use of fileplan.

Inasmuch as that is not the case, we should restore it.

Right, Kathy's tag usage stats showed something like 7 occurrences out of 1,136 finding aids. Is it worth investigating how it's being used by apeEAD, to determine if there is in fact a possible migration path to some other element?
