Hi Shannon, I was looking at our lab manual and noticed the hardware methods page for the handheld hydrophone links to a page in this repository. For the sake of keeping information on one place and reducing duplication of information, I suggest we move that to our main lab manual.

I feel like the towed hydrophone and sonobuoy information could also live in the main lab manual. Although we aren't currently using these platforms, they could have a subheader like 'past equipment' or something like that.

I was just getting a little overwhelmed with how many different repos we have and since this is currently a smaller one, I think it would be easy enough to merge this to our main manual. Down the line if the hardware section is bursting at the seems we can always reconsider this but let me know what you think!

@Kourtney-Burger I agree, and I will merge these... FYI, history was that the handheld hydrophone was alone in this repository, and the other week I started to add the other hardware. Still, I agree that they should be (mostly) merged, with the exception that I'll retain much of the adrift details in the field methods section (I think it is reasonable to keep this separate). I'll work on that now and send you a note to review later. Thanks!

Please review updated SAEL Lab Manual.... if everything looks good (re: Hardware), then this repository can be deleted. Feel free to either delete it yourself, or assign that to me. Thank you!
