This is an overarching issue encompassing all work relating to the integration of data archives with the ODP.

It is driven primarily by the MIMS Upload Interface use case. The objective is to provide a web application enabling data providers to upload datasets along with metadata. The datasets are automatically stored to a long-term archive (MIMS Nextcloud instance), while the metadata is stored to the ODP and published to the MIMS and other catalogues, pending curation. Download links are automatically generated at publishing time.

This work must support existing and future use cases including the SAEON Observations Database, SAEON Nextcloud Repository and SAPRI Data Centre. Some of these (notably, the SAEON Obs DB) will be read-only from the perspective of the ODP.
