Requirements:

[x] Finished creating the UI
[ ] The frontend endpoint should be '/home'
[ ] Sends a request to the backend with endpoint '/event/active'

I need help with fetching data from the back end to display the event cards. Also for some reason my scan qr code button disappeared from the commits, why?
