Freshwater fish SIS data import #105

Closed rukayaj closed 6 years ago

rukayaj commented 6 years ago

@Dewidine to send me new freshwater fish SIS export. She will send me 3 separate exports with full assessments, and a list of separate names which should not have an assessment (give them the 'in progress' message which all the others have)

Dewidine commented 6 years ago

@rukayaj Will submit new batch with all assessment, then can re-upload. Also waiting for datasharing agreements to be completed. Due date mid February

Ok one thing which has broken my script is the last bit of Pseudobarbus asper.json. It reads: {"type":"Feature","geometry":null,"properties":{"Latitude":0,"Longitude":0,"BINOMIAL":"","PRESENCE":0,"ORIGIN":0,"SEASONAL":0,"COMPILER":"","YEAR":0,"CITATION":"","SOURCE":"","LEGEND":"","SUBSPECIES":"","SUBPOP":""}}

You will see all the other lines do not have geometry: null. So it's breaking. I think there's a stray point in there which you need to get rid of.

Here's an example of one of the distribution data i've successfully imported, does it look right to you?:

Ok closing this so you can check it when i do the update later today

@rukayaj Remove P. asper and Pseudobarbus tenius shapefiles, they do not have assessments associated with them at present, so they shouldn't be uploading in any cast.

rukayaj commented 6 years ago

Yes P. tenius doesn't have, but are you sure about asper? It's on the site http://speciesstatus.sanbi.org/assessment/last-assessment/2697/

Dewidine commented 6 years ago

Yes, those assessments are being redone, should I rather send you a new export?
