Values were updated using the following procedure, which was done in T:\data\base_2022\ei\v15_0_1_EI_Input_Calculation.xlsx.
The shares of work and nonwork trips at each interstate cordon (6, 10, and 12) for the year 2022 in the ABM2+ inputs was applied to the total 2022 cordon counts determined with @bhargavasana and @zouyang401. For example, the total I-5 crossings determined were 79,926. The ABM2+ file had 24,442 work and 34,259 nonwork trips for that cordon in 2022. The 41.6% and 58.4% shares were then applied to the 79,926 total trips to get 33,280 work trips and 46,646 nonwork trips at that cordon.
For future years, the ratio of the future year trips to the 2022 trips by cordon and purpose from the ABM2+ input file was then multiplied to the base year values by cordon and purpose. For example, the ABM2+ inputs had 27,157 work trips in 2035 and 24,442 work trips at the I-5 cordon. This ratio (1.111) was then applied to the 33,280 base year work trips to get 36,977 work trips at the I-5 cordon in 2035.
Future year values for cordon 11 were set to zero due to the project being cancelled. It may be possible to simply remove these.
All prior year values were removed to make the file easier to read.
