The Thermal Comfort smart app uses the CBE Thermal Comfort Tool ASHRAE-55 PMV model to adjust thermostat temperature set points based on humidity and configured PMV thresholds. The smart app makes a couple assumptions for the model:

Air temperature is equal to the mean radiant temperature
Air velocity is 0
External work (wme) is 0

I merged this in manually, as I had many changes I wanted to make in adapting to the new Universal version. I also cheated by adding a couple more options (cooler in the summer/AC, warmer in the winter/heat, etc.). I also made Mode/Program optionally AND/OR, for maximum flexibility.

Comments/feedback welcome. I'd love to have a short write-up on Thermal Comfort and the assumptions you made, so that others can understand how it works...

Thanks for merging this into your suite and continuing development and bugfixes. I'll look into writing a short write-up on the app this week. This weekend has been too busy to do anything.
