Week 3 Activity : Kyma creation fails in SAP BTP EU region #178

Hi,

For week3 tutorials I am unable to create Kyma instance. I have already raised this is community. I got response that for EU region there is issue with Kyma instance creation. I am highlighting so that It might be helpful to other who have are using EU region and trying to complete week 3 activity. I am trying from 2-3 days to enable Kyma instance.

Once Kyma instance creation fails then it can not be deleted. Since it can not be deleted then I can not remove my entitlement of Kyma from my subaccount. Due to this I need to create new BTP account where I can create subaccount in US or Singapore region and then enable Kyma there.

As solution given I must use US or Singapore region for Kyma instance. I will update when I am able to create Kyma in other region.

Sorry if this is not right platform to highlight this.

The Community is the right place to get support on this issue or open an issue with the particular tutorial if they need to remove references to the EU region. The tutorial authors are probably not reviewing the issues over here on Devtoberfest and this is a specific issues with service availability on the BTP trial in just the EU region.
