Flight Model Compatibility with Netweaver 7.52 SP04 #27

Hi Volker,

I hope this channel is the right place to ask this question. I have installed a demo version of SAP Netweaver 7.52 SP04, which is most current one for free usage as far as I know. Wanted to get the flight demo running, but the import has failed more or less. The information from your package says it must be Netweaver 7.55 or higher. No chance to get this running on the free version 7.52? Or can you recommend any other package for download or any work around to get it done with a 7.52? Thanks in advance.

Hello Silvester, the purpose of this Repository is to provide demo content for the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (short RAP). RAP was introduced to the onPrem world in 2019 with Application Server ABAP 7.54. RAP is not available in 7.52, and therefore it would not work to import the demo content into that system. If you want to try out RAP I can recommend the cloud trial environment (https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/abap-environment-trial-onboarding.html). The trial environment already contains the demo content - so no need to import it there.
