I haven't seen anything anything that could potentially break cnbBuild in here, but of course this is a rather huge diff (although mostly unrelated to cnbBuild if I see it correctly). @modulo11 @phil9909 @c0d1ngm0nk3y @pbusko

What I would be interested is, whether the telemetry data is already available to have a look if this PR will bring back the telemetry we were used to have and a timeline for this effort to yield insights.
