I'm not sure to what extent this project is still being maintained, but I saw a few tickets relating to log-based cdc for this connector and that this had to be abandoned as the person working on it had left. I was wondering if there was a high-level plan on how this would work? I've currently been investigating whether this would be possible (currently for purposes of building a debezium connector as we currently use Debezium). There are third party tools on the market like HVR and Qlik Replicate that advertise being able to read the redo logs to perform CDC, however, it's unclear how this would work as I can't find any APIs or Log-Miner equivalent for SAP Hana that would allow this.
I'm hoping perhaps that someone in the SAP community would be able to assist with a starting point for this?
