For Mac users in enterprise environments, this application gives users control over the administration of their machine by elevating their level of access to administrator privileges on macOS. Users can set a timeframe in the application's settings to perform specific tasks, such as installing or removing an application.
I tried the Privileges Beta 2.0.0b1761 on macOS 15.0.1 and I am very exited for the new Version.
behavior
When I played around with the webhook feature I noticed that the requests are dismissed, when there is no connection to the server. The request will not be resend at a later point.
expected behavior
When the next event appears the application resends the requests that where not delivered successfully.
and/or
The application tries to resends the events at a schedule or event (boot/network change).
impact
When the entries are not queued and send at a later point it cannot be used as a seamless remote logging in my view.
If a device is offline I will never knew if a user gained admin rights through that time.
At this point I question what is the intended use/behavior of the webhook?
Or is this a bug?
