[Privileges 2] Webhook feature intended usecase #110

I tried the Privileges Beta 2.0.0b1761 on macOS 15.0.1 and I am very exited for the new Version.

behavior When I played around with the webhook feature I noticed that the requests are dismissed, when there is no connection to the server. The request will not be resend at a later point.

expected behavior When the next event appears the application resends the requests that where not delivered successfully. and/or The application tries to resends the events at a schedule or event (boot/network change).

impact When the entries are not queued and send at a later point it cannot be used as a seamless remote logging in my view. If a device is offline I will never knew if a user gained admin rights through that time.

At this point I question what is the intended use/behavior of the webhook? Or is this a bug?

This is expected behavior. The same applies to the remote syslog functionality.
