there can be two things going on here.
either the file isnt in the AniDB servers and then need to be added there with
the right hashes.
or that the files are corrupt and have the wrong hash data.

check your hashes first (CRC over filename the fansubber used) if they are
correct you are out of luck and i dont know whats wrong XD.

hmmm also check if your settings are right, in the Settings Tab, Essential,
Import Settings and see if the file types are there under Video Extensions.

The settings and hashes were both correct and i checked on anidb and they were
deff there, that's how i added them manually.

hmmm thats weird, will you can add ANY file no matter what as a manual entry
just so you know.

does this happen with ALL your MKV/MP4 files? have you tried getting new files
from another source?

dont really know whats wrong here TBH.
i see alot of files that isnt really added to AniDB recently and UTorrent is
having corruption issues more than usual for me atleast, that causes issues for
me the last few weeks.

in anycase if its in AniDB or not i would always dump the files and atleast try
to add a new release in AniDB, AniDB will tell you if that exact file is in
their system or not, and dumping the files are quick anyway.

in case you dont know how to dump the files:
Find your file/files in your "Unrecognized" tab under "Utilities" and then mark
the file/files you want to dump.
then click the Avdump2 button on the left side of the screen, that will take
you to the AniDB AV Dump tab where you can hash the files for other hash
formats and get the ed2k data.

once you are in the dumb tab you can mark all the files and click "Copy ED2k
Dump" (this will copy the ED2K dump data to your computer clipboard (it will
look something like this: ed2k://|file|[AnimeNOW] Kyousougiga - 02 [BD 720p
AAC] [F7CDB081].mkv|668971717|A650E17916FF59CFE7B7E687E0B1BF67|/ ))

i Usually click Dump Files at this point after copying the ED2K data as it
saves me a click or two.

you can then find the anime you are trying to add files too in the bottom right
of the window, after you have marked it you can click "Add New Release" that
will open your browser with the right web page you need to input the info into.

fill out the entries as good as you can and try not to make mistakes, fill out
witch release group it belongs too (if its your own, then you can always make
your own group, or make a group to whatever dude released your file)

if the CRC code is still in the name of the file, then you can ask AniDB to
Match it from the Official Source.

it will find out the Audio Track and Sub Track if they are labeled with the
right Metadata in the file itself.
you can always edit the info at a later date, but so can anyone else aswell if
the info is wrong, but its hard to stop those error at times.

then just past your ED2K Links in the large window at the bottom of the screen
and click Next.

once you are done with that you can go back to your JMM Desktop and your
"unrecognized" tab and Rescan your file, if you did everything right it should
be able to find your file within 10 sec of you added it to the AniDB system.

ofc if you add it that soon, it cant understand the Metadata at all yet, it
needs time to process on the server side of AniDB before its releasing info
about it, to fix that you can only Update the AniDB Data for those files, JMM
knows witch files it needs to update.

NOW, if it doesnt work now im out of luck. thats how you add a file to the
AniDB servers the manual way, i do it all the time every week when i find new
files, it shouldnt be a problem doing it this way, unless your server is
actually having issues and problems.

oh and sorry for the wall of text..... just wanted to get all the steps and
such in there, if you are having more issues i guess you can always ask here
again......
