It may be possible to send National Band and Tag a list of numbers to make. Jess sent them a message to check.

For stems ≥10cm needing re-tags in the 2022 mortality census, we can order pre-printed tags (#7).

For others, we will need a way to engrave.

We are ordering the tags that need replacement, and will try out an engraver.

We tested this tool and decided it will work. It doesn't engrave as deeply or cleanly as the original tags, but is overall a better option than stamping (also not as deep as original tags, hard to do in the field).
