Note that if we cannot test it you will fail the POC. We need this today 🔥
We apologize for the mistake. Below are the details for a confirmed working account. The account details are the same for both the Alexa Developer Console and the AWS Lambda Management Console. I'm not sure what the instructions provided by @tjcocklin consist of, but the instructions in the README should be sufficient for the testing of our project, just use the account below instead of creating a new one.
Username/Email: belegrin@email.sc.edu Password: Cognito1
@josemvidal did you recieve the @mention I placed in my repository issue? https://github.com/SCCapstone/m3-tjcocklin/issues/2, it should contain the information you need.
@josemvidal please let me know if it is working for you
@mzdu , @fl82hope Hello, Dr. Vidal recently raised a complaint about access to our Alexa skill, If you can bring this conversation to his attention that would be great thanks.
Got it.
For future reference, if you post it here, I will see it. No worries.
I still have not tried to login...
@josemvidal , were you able to access my account or @belegrin? Do you need any additional information?
Nope. Now google wants verification to login to gmail:
Try deleting your phone number from the gmail test account.
@josemvidal Removed recovery phone number and recovery e-mail, try it now.
@josemvidal On my way to deliver the Amazon echo dot to you. Please note it is setup to connect the campus guest network wifi, changing the wifi settings will require access to the developer account. Will that be acceptable?
@josemvidal, just incase that doesn't work I've changed the e-mail for the amazon developer login, and aws login again:
login scsknner@mail.com password: R1pfandang0
The verification message should now be going to scsknner@mail.com password for the email is: cognitoverify
@josemvidal Amazon echo spot delivered to office mailbox here's a link to the device's instructions: https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/customerdocumentation/Alexa+Devices/Echo_Dot_2nd_Gen_QSG_US.pdf
@josemvidal updated testing instructions to work with new login credentials, tested login credentials from capstone lab with no issue.
Ok, I will pickup the echo.
BTW, I tried to login to mail.com with
login scsknner@mail.com password: R1pfandang0
and it did not let me in.
@josemvidal, you used the wrong credentials.
email scsknner@mail.com password for the email is: cognitoverify
please see the updated instructions: https://github.com/SCCapstone/m3-tjcocklin/blob/master/Testing%20Info
Yup, that worked. I can login.
@josemvidal Can you access the developer accounts as well?
I am logged into developer.amazon.com. What is the first thing I have to say? I thought it was talk to cognito forms
but no:
Here's the list of commands: https://github.com/SCCapstone/CognitoFormsDev/blob/master/cognito_form/README.txt
first command must be to load a form Example: tell cognito get form aylademo
currently available test form names designed to work with release 1.0.0 include: aylademo, multichoice.
Here's a sample script of their use: https://github.com/SCCapstone/CognitoFormsDev/blob/master/cognito_form/CSCE%20490%20Alexa%20script.docx
Yeah, I saw those. I thought I had to start with a talk to
command. I guess that is just for the real alexa.
