I’ve noticed that after compiling, the size of my thesis manuscript is excessively large. Once completed, it weighs in at 382 MB, although there is no reason for it to be that heavy. All of my figures combined are 5 MB, and I’ve already compiled about 80% of my thesis content into several scientific articles using an Elsevier template in LaTeX, which gives me a total of 5 MB for the articles.
Is this a known issue? I’ve made some slight modifications to the template to better suit my writing needs, but I don’t think these changes should result in such a large file size.
Hello,
I’ve noticed that after compiling, the size of my thesis manuscript is excessively large.
Kind regards, Raphaël
