The repetition of the lemma in the apparatus entry should be optional.
There are some editions, where we do not have a valid lemma element, so that we can only summe some tokens. E.g. in the edition of 4 Esra, the Latin text was converted from USX, and the notes do not have a lemma repetion in most cases.
When we have popups, we do not need anything but the varia lectio, but giving the lemma may fail in cases like the one in the picture:
