Code Review: Overview of OpenGL Code in SCIRun 4 #21

High-level overview with code examples. Include broad categories of what can stay, what should go, what's good and bad, etc.

Will be useful to compare spire and SCIRun 4 renderer code. Will wait for Spire code to be presentation-ready.

@iauns Can we schedule this for September? I.E. before user testing lunch, set for 10/7. They will have questions and we should have answers.

This is something we really need to talk about today. I'm not going to have time for this. I won't be available 10/7 -- that is the day on which my eyetracking project members are all coming to Utah for a demonstration.

Yeah, let's have the meeting just with devs before the 7th. Just so we have some explanatory material to point to if they have graphics questions rather than the default "talk to James."

@cbrightsci Do we still want to do this? It might be more pertinent now, with the clipping plane performance problem.
