I think this one needs more help than the interns can do alone. This is related to the auto save screen shot which they are stuck on.

@jessdtate Heh, since a ViewScene needs to be visible just to generate the buffer data, this one would now seem to be impossible, unless Qt 6 changes things yet again. Do we close or keep backlogged?

I would really like this feature, so I guess I would favor backlog. Perhaps we can revisit after qt6 is released and then if there is no way forward we close it?
