Seg3D is a free volume segmentation and processing tool developed by the NIH Center for Integrative Biomedical Computing at the University of Utah Scientific Computing and Imaging (SCI) Institute.
Here are the things I am interested in using in Seg3d. I think more broadly is the general “manual” segmentation of images is lacking in Seg3d compared to corview. So here we go:
[x] Multislice polyline
[x] Growcut
[x] 3D polyline
[ ] Cut plane 3d viewer transparency
Things that would be useful but not necessary:
[ ] MRA fusion, basically a registration tool, I think it includes a morphing component
[ ] Shrinkwrap
[ ] Nulled area analysis (basically identifying scar tissue above a certain standard deviation)
[ ] Really, a lot of the “Advanced Filters” that have some nice registration and data analysis tools.
