Shapeworks is working on an integration that calls Seg3D for manual editing. The old shapeworks client had something similar.

[ ] data exchange for ShapeWorks
[ ] way to indicate the mask to save
[ ] "mask edit mode" with an additional widget that would simplify the file IO interfaces and seg3D start and stop.
[ ] stabilize distributions for better platform support (#414, #415)
