Cannot read zero-offset triangles #15

I just tried reading a .mat file that uses 0 base for pointing at nodes:

[airtable:~/Dropbox/IBBM2015/Data/ischemia_vis/geom]$ map3d -f rsm-13-10-03-sock_geometry.mat Reading geom file rsm-13-10-03-sock_geometry.mat, surface# 1 *\ In CheckPointValidity error in element #447 of length 3 The point #3 = 0 is zero or less MAP3D WARNING: Unable to read geometry file "rsm-13-10-03-sock_geometry.mat".

I thought map3d was smart enough now to read 0-offset files?

I think when we talked about this last time, we specifically went through fac files. I can make mat files work, pretty easily. If you send me the mat file, I can do that. Sorry if this set you back at all.

Hi Byran, Thanks, I can send you the file...but I cannot see how to attach a file (other than an image) to this message. Do you know how to do this? Thanks, Rob

If not, I'll try to make one on a sci machine. If shell doesn't have one, I'll need you to tell me a machine to access.

All right, so I had to:

re-download Visual Studio - I got stuck having to use 2012, since 2010 isn't supported anymore. download a new version of Qt that is supported by that version of Visual Studio upgrade the map3d code (just a little) to support Qt 5.

That only took a few hours, but it wasn't something I could do easily over hotel internet.

Anyway, sorry agin.

So I finished the task this morning, and committed it. I will push a new set of binaries to github this evening.
