I think when we talked about this last time, we specifically went through fac files. I can make mat files work, pretty easily. If you send me the mat file, I can do that. Sorry if this set you back at all.
Thanks, Bryan

I thought map3d was smart enough now to read 0-offset files?

Hi Byran, Thanks, I can send you the file...but I cannot see how to attach a file (other than an image) to this message. Do you know how to do this? Thanks, Rob
Can you mail it to me directly? (That does kind of bug me about github.) Or is it too big?
Thanks, Bryan

If not, I'll try to make one on a sci machine. If shell doesn't have one, I'll need you to tell me a machine to access.
Thanks, Bryan

HI Bryan,
DID you get the email I sent earlier with the file? It was to your gmail address.
Cheers, Rob

Yes, thanks.

Hi Rob,
Sorry for the delay. I had to reinstall my development environment, and I couldn't get to that until today.

Hi Bryan
OK, I understand and hope you did not lose too much time on all this.
Can you give me a status report?
Thanks, Rob

All right, so I had to:
re-download Visual Studio - I got stuck having to use 2012, since 2010 isn't supported anymore. download a new version of Qt that is supported by that version of Visual Studio upgrade the map3d code (just a little) to support Qt 5.
That only took a few hours, but it wasn't something I could do easily over hotel internet.
Anyway, sorry agin.
So I finished the task this morning, and committed it. I will push a new set of binaries to github this evening.
Thanks, Bryan
