Okay, I'll have to dig up a win 10 box. If I'm not mistaken, it should work on 7 and 8.
Still working on a windows 10 box. I confirmed that it works on win 8.
No worries, I have a machine up in WEB that runs it. It's not an urgent problem for me.

Hi, please try it again. I replaced the installer with slightly different C++ runtime libraries that might cause the problem. Let me know if it works.
Ok, I will give it a shot. I'll let you know by the end of the day. Thank you

Which installer should I use? The one on the release page isn't updated.
Okay, please try the 7.2.1b.exe installer.
I can only test this out on "remote desktop". I can install and run it and open an adequate window now, but in remote desktop, the 3D fonts don't render. I can't tell if that's a problem with remote desktop not supporting all the graphics features or if a file is missing. If you could please test out the 7.2.1b installer and let me know if you can get that far, I would appreciate it.
Sorry for getting back to you so late. I had class all day. I will try it out tomorrow and let you know.

Could you confirm that fonts render correctly in the 3D windows? It should be obvious if they don't.
Sure. I'll try around 4pm today.

The only problem I noticed is the black box in the bottom right of each surface module. When I expand the window, it changes from black to white.

Can you let me know how you launch map3d?
I used the windows downloader, and the process worked. However, the program will not launch after installation. What appears to be a gui will open momentarily before closing.
