Why is the address for taking Monero on NiceHash (nicex.com) considered invalid on p2pool? #240

Why is the address for taking Monero on NiceHash (nicex.com) considered invalid on p2pool? And how can I fixed it ? This address 8Aev2Us3tsb3xALQXW6fy2d92UHz9X3ZRAwg845pornp7f7GE6fFmx5FkiCoWxwknzYbTkyoPHdTsfq3G6p2SerCUYa1bZQ

I understand. They used Subaddresses and integrated addresses ?

If you want to send Monero to Nicehash (???), you can send it from your miner wallet that starts with 4... They use subaddresses (one per user) to know who sent them XMR. Mining only allows (for technical reasons) standard addresses that start with 4...

So it will not work. I want to rent power at NiceHash.

It will work. You already asked 3 weeks ago. P2Pool works fine with NiceHash - you just need to point NiceHash miners to your Stratum IP:port and make sure the port is open in firewall. The address you set in P2Pool command line has nothing to do with NiceHash and it never even sees this address.

Yes, he works with NiceHash. I want to try to buy power from them and return there, and buy again.

You can't do it with a single wallet address. P2Pool must use an address starting with 4... and NiceHash probably gave you some address starting with 8... You have to first mine Monero to 4... address and then send mined coins to NiceHash.
