Hi @JasonTheAdams ! This is something that has irked me for a while but didn't really have the time to flesh out for a while.
WHAT: So we need a way to organize the order that events from the same day are listed in the Volunteer Portal/Upcoming Events. The listing order currently looks to be based on when the event is created, with oldest first. WHY: Volunteers blow through the events listing, sometimes not paying attention to if they are signing up for K-5th or MS/HS. They just RSVP 'yes' to every other one or every 4th one. Yes, they can use the filter, but they don't. But it makes sense that the K-5th event would always be in the same place in the date line-up. It looks cleaner and more organized. HOW: Could the Volunteer Portal/Upcoming Events page be coded so that checking the 'sticky in month view' box (in the Event Options section when editing the event page) equates first placement for that date in the Upcoming Events portal page? The 'Sticky in Month View' option already does this function in the Events Calendar - it is available to tailor the order of events in the Events Calendar that fall on the same day. Checking this box has the event display first in list of events shown for any given day block.
