It looks like AI and AIs are one and the same variables, so we can get rid of one.

AI and AIs are both used in a loop on line 542. Could rename AI to AI0 - loop seems to increase AI efficiency by a factor of 2 for every time period. Not sure if relevant if he's remodeling AI based on yesterday's discussion?
