Is the 'type' attribute on links required? #42

Atom does not require it. Do we want to get into whether it's required or not?

We should require it where we depend on it.

That makes sense to me. The only place where we might depend on it is in links to data (snapshots and fragments). I guess it makes sense to require it there.
