Similar to the add review feature, the inclusion of the ability to watch movie trailers represents a logical and potentially valuable enhancement for our app.
Enhanced User Experience: The cinematic allure of trailers adds a dynamic element to the app. Users don't just get information—they experience a taste of the movie's atmosphere, tone, and style. This immersive experience significantly uplifts the user's interaction with the app.
Informed Decisions: While a written synopsis gives an outline, a trailer showcases key moments, character dynamics, and the movie's overall vibe. A 2-minute visual summary can often convey what might take much longer to express in text. This allows users to quickly gauge whether a movie aligns with their interests, helping them curate a more tailored favorites list.
Increased Engagement: Trailers increase the time users spend in the app. They create interest in new movies and remind users of past ones, encouraging more visits. The combination of visuals and sound from trailers enhances user engagement and drives them to use the app more often.
