We need to build in two time horizons: one that targets a given date / year span for completion of the planned electrification (a practical time horizon for project roll-out) and a separate one that is used as a basis for calculating total costs (fixed and recurring, discounts, etc. --- in effect, a financial time horizon). Without that, we have to do a very clumsy hack that I think is not teachable to new users
