BUG: formatting fixes and additional example for auditing #2

Make the style consistent and add an additional example by @doverride

Thanks @bauen1! I had some nits regarding HTML tags, and in general it is nice if the patch's subject line includes a file/subsystem prefix, for example: "auditing: fix some style problems make the examples better".
