Is it a common use case for Change Events to have a duration, instead of being instant?
How about inheriting ChangeEvent from some widely used Event ontology, has this been considered?
@augusto-herrmann The class Change Event in the Core Public Organisation Vocabulary is taken from the W3C's Organization Ontology: https://www.w3.org/TR/vocab-org/#org:ChangeEvent.
The updated definitions of start and end time can be found here: https://github.com/SEMICeu/CPOV/blob/master/releases/2.00/Changelog_definitions.md
During the Core Vocs webinar dd. 2021-05-20, there were some questions surrounding the addition of the startedAtTime and endedAtTime properties on the Change Event class. These were added as specified in W3C's Organization Ontology, see https://www.w3.org/TR/vocab-org/#class-changeevent.
We therefore propose to improve the definitions in the context of a Public Organisation and to give a recommendation on their usage when only one date is known.
