Degrees of freedom #6

In the first lab session you need a few times the degree of freedom to find the chi-square value, but I don't understand how I know what the degree of freedom is?

I do think I understand it, since I should find the differents between the two models. However than should the answer for question 4, 3 degrees of freedom instead of 4 degrees of freedom.

Hi,

You are right, for the chi-square test, you need to calculate the difference between the estimated parameters of the restricted and unrestricted models. -> 9-6= 3.

I will re-upload the lab with this change.
