Steps to reproduce:
Start with a default Opus search configuration.
Change the metadata columns to something other than the default.
On the Search tab, notice the button 'Reset Search and Metadata' is not accessible.
Change any search parameter; notice the button is now highlighted.
Click on the button; the search parameters are reset to default <after selecting 'yes' from the modal>, but the metadata columns remain the same.
