Admin Duties Solution:
First, create a picklist field under Activity object named Admin Duties with the following values:
Meeting Attended
Presentations/Briefs
Trainings Attended
Newsletter
Social Media Maintenance
Other Duties
Next, create a global quick action so users can access it from anywhere on Lightning with the target object: Task and action type: Create a Record. The following data are collected and added to the global action layout:
Admin Duties (Picklist)
Assigned to (User)
Subject
Due Date
Time Spent
Status
Priority
Comments
Once saved, add 'Admin Duties' to the publisher layout.
For reporting, create a custom report type of 'Users with Activities' and add 'Admin Duties' on the Users report field layout. Users will be able to select and report on fields found on the global quick action form.

Don't need a custom report type. Just making a Tasks and Events report filtered to any that have a value in Admin Duties. Saving that in the OCC reports folder.
