Have you shared this feature idea request in the Trailblazer Community? No, but this came up from a conversation that stemmed from the community and I wanted to get the thoughts down to work on capturing requirements for what would be needed for MVP and future enhancement considerations.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Not entirely a problem, but an opportunity. Many of the Dreamin' Events are conference style events that leverage non-Salesforce based solutions. The registration process may be disconnected, from the events experience or there are a combo of tools that are being managed to create a meaningful experiences.

Describe the solution you'd like Would love to see Summit Events have a solution to provide Dreamin' Events planners with a template for managing a Dreamin' event with the technology surrounding the Dreamin' event.... being Salesforce. Also, since Dreamin' events are often about growing as a community, what better of an opportunity to leverage community built solutions.

Requirements for this to work:

Expectations for MVP based on what Summit Events provides today:

Next Level Iteration

Final Iteration Process Flow for Community Related Gatherings via Slack

To help determine if a recipe may be more appropriate, please share other use cases, if possible, this functionality would benefit from. This would all be a recipe to start for future consideration of supporting conference style events in Summit Events. The goal is to leverage a community solution for community events with a platform that the community is familiar with at not additional cost to the event itself.

Are you willing and interested in being engaged during the development and testing process? Yes as is Jana Walker.
