Subtasks:

  1. [ ] create the navbar.tsx component in the app/components/ directory.
  2. [ ] Implement the layout and styling for the nav bar.
  3. [ ] Add routing functionality for the "CHECK-IN," "REGISTER," and "MANAGE" buttons.
  4. [ ] Add and implement the light mode/dark mode switch on the right side.
  5. [ ] Ensure the default theme is light mode.
  6. [ ] Implement functionality to store and retrieve theme preference from local storage.
  7. [ ] Call the navbar.tsx component in the app/layout.tsx file to ensure it is rendered across the app.
  8. [ ] Create a time.tsx component to display the current date and time.
  9. [ ] Implement the time display format as shown in the provided image.
  10. [ ] Ensure the time.tsx component is conditionally rendered in the nav bar only on the register and check-in pages.
  11. [ ] Test the nav bar for responsiveness and accessibility.
  12. [ ] Conduct a code review and obtain approval.
