What steps will reproduce the problem?
God only knows - it crashes at random for no good reason
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to be able to edit the script pane -
BUT
it freezes, requiring a task manger kill.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
JES 4.3 i'm running windows XP professional

This is a crap product, that slows down my learning.
It is buggy, and crashy, and has features that obscure REAL python.
I learned to use Visual Studio with MUCH more ease than this thing.
It was a nice thought, but the product sucks, and I DO NOT recommend it for
learning on. it is a broken TOY.
Fix it and at least show how to implement your Jython-specific functions in
real python, then it might have value in the REAL world.
I am NOT IMPRESSED that Massey would choose suck a buggy product as a teaching
platform.
