OI Shopping List: Cursor and checkbox colors barely visible on ICS #504

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In OI Shopping List, choose a bright theme, like "Classic" or "Basic colors 
(red)" theme.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In "classic" theme, the cursor of the text input field is gray on yellow, 
therefore barely visible. 

In "Basic colors (red)" theme, the unchecked check boxes are gray on light red 
and almost not visible.

See issue 452 and corresponding code changes in r4086 for a related issue that 
had been fixed.
