Setup a Splunk (free) instance on EC2 for our application and then convert all our logging to use Winston (npm module for logging). Right now logs aren't persisted with out current hosting and it's important to be able to monitor for high error rates
Using a T2.micro is $59 a year if paid in full in advance and we all get $100 per year for free to use on AWS as UTD students
