Sound card settings missing 2-3 weeks period, even if the setings saved to file #1658

Describe the bug Hi, I have an old issue, reported once a year ago, still present. In every 2-3 weeks, I need to set the sound output again from scratch. I am using the "save output settings" option to save the output channel settings to exported settings, but still having the issue. Start the PC, entering a game, and no shaker output. Going back to simhub settings, and see the sound cards are inactive, after activating, it loads the default settings, and need about 150-200 clicks to set which channel output to what card channel. Very very annoying issue

Hi ! When you show disconnected outputs (at the bottom of the window) can you see your old settings ?

Most of the time this happens when windows does detect the sound card as a new one (drivers update, or usb port change for devices with no unique identifiers) internally windows has an unique identifier which is used to keep track of the sound devices and when windows changes it it's recognised as a sound card.

When this happens you can show the disconnected outputs and you will find an option to transfer to your "new" (as reported by windows) sound card.

Hi, can you please show me where should I see this "transfer" option? I have never seen this. Simply see turned off all sound cards, and when turned on, it loads the default scheme, not what I saved in the profile. in the past I tried to load saved profile, but not load the saved output channels. Reload simhub, still not load the settings.

The sound cards are always connected, the cables fixed to the rig with lot of cable ties. did not move any cable.

Hi, I just make a test, manually disconnect the sound cards, 2 times, after reconnect, both times, the settings came back and not lost any settings.
