Uneven amount of alternating colors for looped tracks with an uneven amount of sectors (Static/Live Track Map) #795

I guess there is no way to get an uneven amount of alternating sector colors for tracks with an uneven amount of sectors?

As in F1 (a.o.) you have 3 sectors. And with only 2 alternating sector colors, sectors 1 and 3 will always be the same color and look like 1 long sector.

In my opinion that is confusing and looks wrong. So I don't like to use alternating colors there.

But then I can't see where sectors 2 and 3 start! That's not ideal either.

So, is there (A) a way to have 3 alternating sector colors?

Or is there (B) another way to visualise the sector starting lines?

Also: What does the setting "Cursor Color" do? I can't figure that one out.

Same for: Misc -> MapReady

hi currently there are only two colors, i will look to add a third or more.

concerning the two properties this was internal working properties, which did escape my attention. it's removed for the next version ;)

That would be great.

And when you're at it: perhaps the track properties could be ordered/grouped/named a bit more logically?

Track color Track width Track minimum width

Border color Border width Border minimum width

Track shadow (y/n) Start line ...

Alternate track color 1 (y/n) Alternate track color 1 color (value)

Alternate track color 2 (y/n) Alternate track color 2 color (value)

Something like that.

Related: strange behaviour border color. When I want to use the border color the start line also gets a border in the same color. Sometimes on the left side, sometimes on the right. Depending on the border width.

Looks like this:

(picture is a bit cluttered. But you can just see the dark red start line an the grey border on the left side of it)

I have not tested this extensively. Occured on the Spa (cloud) track of F1 2020.

Made me turn the border off.
