Best ROS and OS for raspberry 4 connection with LMS1XX? #147

Hi, I am just starting in the world of data processing from an LMS1XX LIDAR, which I want to connect to a raspberry pi 4 (8GB) to perform the data processing for my application. Please, can you recommend to me which is the best ROS and the version of the OS to work with the sick_scan libraries and be able to connect the LIDAR to raspberry pi 4? Thanks,

We recommend for the first trials ROS1 with Ubuntu Mate.
