LMS511 #87

Hello! System: ros1 (qt creator) Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS (bionic)

sick_scan_xd LMS511-10100S PRO

Thanks for reporting! A very similar issue #13 could be solved by using the most recent sick_scan_xd release. Please update sick_scan_xd sources and rebuild. If the error remains, please let us know.

Спасибо за отчет! Очень похожая проблема № 13 может быть решена с помощью самой последней версии SCAN_SCAN_XD. Пожалуйста, обновите исходники Scan_scan_xd и пересоберите. Если ошибка остается, сообщите нам об этом.

Обновляем исходники Scan_scan_xd и пересобираем, но проблема остается.

Thanks for the update. The LIDoutputstate message received from the lidar looks like an incorrect mix of a binary and ascii telegram. This might be caused by old firmware. https://www.sick.com/de/en/detection-and-ranging-solutions/2d-lidar-sensors/lms5xx/lms511-10100-pro/p/p215941 publishes firmware version V2.10. Can you update to the most recent firmware version?
