SPARCL is a database specifically designed to serve spectra. They have focused on DESI and SDSS spectra so far, but I'd love to convince them to host our spectra.
I think in order for this to work, we have to convince them that we can do most of the ingest work. We want their infrastructure, but don't want to take up too much of their TIME.
I have requested from the SPARCL team (@jacquesalice, @stephjuneau) that they send us their "personality" template. Each spectral dataset would need a "personality" which defines how the data is organized, units, etc. This will enable us to put together a demo ingest request.
