Why don't you make new version of gotube, or make something new, like 
SuperTube=) That can play HQ videos WITHOUT black & white colors?

Please, make update! I read some issues- somewhere you write that You are 
enough intelligent to create new soft, that won't lose colors)))

yep this is what i made with opentube , it can play mp4 videos up to 720*480 
without lag or black n white color.
but i stopped because i didn't succed to code a flv demuxer. (and because it 
dosen't have a good user interface) but if anyone can help me to create the 
interface I'll be enought motivated to make the flv demuxer :D

This is a basic search process :

OT :list all available script (youtube.js etc.)
GUI:display that list
GUI:allow user to pick one of them
OT :load the associated script
GUI:allow user to do keyword search in this website
OT :receiv the keyworkd from the GUI give them to the script.js
JS :retreive the webpage and convert it to a result list
OT :receiv the list an give it to the GUI
GUI:display that list (text+image+url)
GUI:allow user to pick a result
GUI:give the chosen result's url to openTube player
OT :play the url

the GUI part is missing (or very buggy) ATM
what graphic engine/lib are you going to use ?

Will the user be able to use the full-screen keyboard to use searches? Also,

The better way is to ask them (by creating a pool on a popular website)
I'm not good with that kind of decision :/

but i don't think they need to have the full description , and using the sony 
OSK sounds good (because most of user already use it)

You should start by creating a very simple mock-up, you'll enhance it later.
I'll read your source and help you to integrate the OT API.

please, make opentube that i can jump at the centre of video or in other time 
of video. Not just speed play, because the beginning of video do not 
interesting, and wait for video complete download too long:))
