There might be an argument for moving the project to “Archived” as soon as the document is published and not having the “Published” and “Document Uploaded to TC Ref Docs” project stages. However, I do see the value of retaining this information for a period after publication just as a quick confirmation that publication has occurred and that the refdocs version is available. Who is responsible for ticking the “project is archived” box? This is often a decision at TC meetings, but that decision doesn’t take into account those stages after ST Audit. Should we agree that archive follows Publication date by 3 months? Or…

Why isn't "published" the last stage of a project?

More importantly, what does AG-19 say? The Project Application should reflect the states defined in the latter.

The project stages in the project app drop down are taken from the Microsoft Planner board we are currently using for project tracking. They should all be AG-19 compliant (we did find one typo so). At the time when the planner board was set up members asked that we add 2 additional stages which are not in AG-19. Unfortunately, we will need to keep these stages for now until we are done with migrating the Planner board data into the new project database. Once that is done we can remove the two additional stages and just use the AG-19 stages. "published" would then be the last stage.
