Installing NodeXL on Mac #278

Hi there,

Just having difficulty installing NodeXL on my Mac. I am not able to unarchive the set-up file. It reads "There was a problem while reading the contents of the file 'NodeXLExcelTemplate2014Setup.exe': The archive file is incomplete".

Any assistance is appreciated.

[markout@7/27/2015] You cannot install NodeXL on a Mac. it only works with Windows. However I run Windows and Excel in a Parallels VM on my Mac and handle it that way

I am a Mac user too. I used a Virtual Machine from Amazon aws and managed to download NodeXLBasicExcelTemplate2018Setup and a NodeXL excel Template (xltx.) (but it was supposed to be .exe?), anyway, I just couldn't open NodeXL. I clicked "Run" button over and over again, but it was just not working. Can anyone help me? :( Do I need to download an excel on the VM too in order to use NodeXL?

Excel is required in your VM in order to run NodeXL.
