I am aware of the fact that uploading a file takes a considerable amount of time. This is expected due to the TCP nature of the connection. At some point, we'll try and use FTP

I completely made this issue up, it was never a real problem, evidently I don't understand TCP properly and it was just the print statements that made it so long
