Previously, in verbose mode sntools would write the timestamp and parameters to the filename args.output. For NUANCE and RATPAC files, it would then write events to the same file; for JUNO, it would write them to a separate file (with an additional .root suffix).
Since it doesn’t make much sense to have these parameters in a different file than the actual events, this PR avoids writing the parameters file.
@mcolomermolla Do you think it’s worth adding a separate tree with that metadata to the root files? (I occasionally found it useful when trying things out; for production use it’s unnecessary, since there will be other mechanisms to handle this bookkeeping.)
